The EPIC-5536 single board computer supports onboard AMD Geode LX800 processor. The chipset is AMD LX series and CS5536. Moreover, the model features 200-pin DDR SODIMM and system memory up to 1GB for DDR 333 or 512MB for DDR 400 which provides it with ample speed and performance. In addition, EPIC-5536 adopts Realtek 8100C 10/100Base-TX chip that utilizes two RJ-45 ports or an optional RTL8110S gigabit LAN to provide flexible network connections. This new EPIC SBC is configured with an AMD Geode LX and TI SN75LVDS83 chipset to support CRT/LCD simultaneous display. It supports up to a 24-bit TTL/LVDS LCD panel.
The low power consumption is the most significant feature of EPIC-5536, which economizes energy usage as AAEON designed this EPIC board to keep its power consumption under 10W. In addition to the efficient power usage, the wide operating temperature range is also another advanced feature of the EPIC-5536, which expands its application potential into the fields of Industrial Automation Control, Entry Security or Traffic Signaling that demand wide temperature operations.
