作为UP Squared系列的第三代板卡，UP Squared i12在仅85.6mm × 90mm的迷你尺寸上导入了许多新功能，其中最突出的是支持MIPI-CSI相机和扩展的显示接口。UP Squared i12是采用第12/13代Intel® Core™/Celeron® 7000系列处理器(代号Alder Lake-P/Raptor Lake-P)当中目前市面上最小的板卡，相较于前几代，除了性能大幅提升之外，还同时提供8GB的板载LPDDR5系统内存。

UP Squared i12是研扬目前支持MIPI-CSI相机的最小板卡，保留了85.6mm × 90mm的UP Squared同系列迷你尺寸，同时可通过载板连接两个MIPI-CSI相机连接器。此特色对于开发者来说，在智能零售和机器视觉等领域的应用得以更加稳定兼具经济实惠。

UP Squared i12是采用第12/13代Intel® Core™处理器的最小板卡，在速度和效率方面都大幅度超越前代产品。藉由Intel® Hyper-Threading技术，UP Squared i12的线程数(thread)是前代产品的四倍，同时板载LPDDR5也将数据传输速度提高了50%，非常适合应用于高性能机器人解决方案。

同步支持3台4K显示器

UP Squared i12提供双HDMI 1.4b/DP 1.2连接器和通过USB Type-C的DP 1.4b，可同步支持3台4K显示器。这种配置让用户能够充分利用M.2 2280 M-Key插槽，整合AI模块以增强AI推理(Inference)能力，让这块开发板的应用潜力展延到医疗保健领域。
