Built on the Intel Atom® Processor C Series platform, the FWS-2370 is equipped with the optimized networking and security tools needed to empower a range of firewall and UTM applications. On-chip technologies such as Intel® QAT and Intel® VT-d/VT-x offer expedited encryption and decryption, while the device’s CPU platform is well-suited to providing everything needed for SD-WAN and uCPE solutions, given its powerful yet efficient processing power facilitating data throughput and managing multi-threaded workloads.
Diversified High-Speed Networking
Equipped with four RJ-45 ports for 2.5GbE, four RJ-45 ports for 1GbE, and four 10GbE SFP+ ports with two LAN bypasses, the FWS-2370 is designed for high-demand network applications. Further, the device offers the distinction of two PoE af/at ports as an option, increasing ease of deployment and power management. Such an array of interfaces makes the FWS-2370 ideal not only for small and medium enterprises, but also offers redundant high-speed networking and data transfer between multiple locations possible for larger projects.
More Expansion than Ever Before
The FWS-2370 is AAEON’s most expansive desktop network appliance to date, with 5G, 4G/LTE, Wi-Fi, cellular, and network modules supported via two M.2 B-Key slots, an M.2 E-Key, and PCIe connector slot. The device also offers two Mini Card slots with push-push SIM slots co-layed with its M.2 B-Keys, allowing users to connect to high-speed 5G networks in areas without traditional wired infrastructure. This variety grants users a multitude of high-bandwidth edge connectivity which, coupled with the FWS-2370’s extensive wired networking interfaces, makes for a failure-proof SD-WAN foundation.
