The ICS-6270 is a highly scalable and rugged hardware solution for critical infrastructure in harsh industrial-based environments, and as such has been designed to industrial-grade requirements, operating at an impressive wide-temperature range of -40°C ~ 75°C. It is enclosed within a corrosion-proof steel casing for resistance against outer stimuli, and features an aluminum heatsink, enhancing the cooling function and maximizing air circulation.
The system is built around the Intel® Atom Apollo Lake processor SoC, with optional support for TPM v1.2 9660 and TPM2.0 9665. 2-pair LAN bypass function is also supported. Storage choices include a 2.5” HDD bay and a CFast™ socket, as well as a co-lay for BOM optional mSATA, whilst system memory comprises a 204-pin DDR3L 1867MHz SODIMM slot, with a capability of 8GB.
Featuring 6 native LED LAN ports, USB 3.0 ports, a VGA port and an isolated COM port (RS-232/422/485), the ICS-6270 provides a plethora of expansion and flexibility options. A 2Pin Terminal Block +9~36VDC is located on the top panel, whilst a DIN rail and wallmount on the rear I/O enable easy physical deployment, ensuring hassle-free integration with existing hardware systems.
The ICS-6270 offers a preemptive shield against cybersecurity threats such as malware infection, PLC logic degradation, problematic modems and remote bases, hijacked interfaces, and compromised control systems. More importantly, the ICS-6270 facilitates a secure hardware environment, ensuring interoperability and system responsiveness.
