GENE-TC05W2 is a wide temperature (-40°C ~ 80°C, WiTAS 2), ultra low power embedded 3.5" SBC based on the Intel® Atom™ E620T processor and Intel® EG20T PCH chipset. Furthermore, its I/O chipset is the Nuvoton W82627 DHG-P, Fintek F81216DG. The GENE-TC05W2 is powered by +12V DC input, but it can be set up to work with an ATX power supply for soft power applications.
GENE-TC05W2 includes an onboard processor and has onboard 1GB of DDR2 667/800 memory, and one SATA 3.0Gb/s and one CFast™ interface for plenty of storage space and reliable serial performance for an operating system. The GENE-TC05W2 features two Mini PCI-Express slots for expansion, and it is equipped with six COM ports, four USB2.0 ports, one CAN Bus connector and an 8-bit Digital I/O for connectivity with peripherals and external devices. The 2 channel HD audio is accessed through one Line-in, Line-out and Mic-in jacks. GENE-TC05W's numerous I/O interfaces let system integrators effortlessly embed this compact board into their applications. Moreover, the GENE-TC05W2 supports CRT and LVDS LCD with simultaneous and dual view displays, and has an onboard Resistive Touchscreen interface to support a user-friendly system without a need for a mouse or keyboard.
GENE-TC05W2 has an operating temperature of -40° ~ +80°C which lets the GENE-TC05W2 thrive in various environments. In addition to this, all versions of the GENE-TC05 come with a fanless cooler to increase product quality and reliability. As with all products in AAEON's GENE series, GENE-TC05 has a consistent rear I/O coast line that enables customers to easily upgrade previous systems, saving time and money. This 3.5" embedded board is perfect for applications such as Factory Automation, Industrial Automation and In-Vehicle. For In-Vehicle purposes, end users can easily display advertisements via VGA, the 24-bit single channel LVDS, or the optional DVI.
GENE-TC05W2 supports frequently used operating system support such as Windows® XP and Windows® 7 as well as their embedded versions. In addition, its dual Gigabit Ethernet ports fit perfectly with end users' communications systems.
